Centennial is one of New Mexico's newest high schools, opening its doors to its students for the first time during the 2012-2013 academic school year. We are a four-year comprehensive high school with a curriculum focused on Career Pathways. Our name is a celebration of the centennial, or 100th anniversary, of our statehood. On June 21, 1910 President William H. Taft announced the signing of a bill that added "Two new stars on the American Flag," as he put it, making New Mexico and Arizona America's newest states. On January 6th, 1912 New Mexico officially became the 47th state of the Union. To learn more about our state you can visit New Mexico's official Website.
