Film Prize Junior New Mexico is an exciting new venture by the creators of the acclaimed Louisiana Film Prize and Film Prize Junior Louisiana, in collaboration with the Stagecoach Foundation.
This competition is tailored for middle and high school students statewide in New Mexico. Participants collaborate with educators to develop concepts, craft stories, and produce short films, receiving support from experienced team members and film mentors.
Selected entries get the chance to be featured at the film festival. It's a fantastic opportunity for young filmmakers to showcase their talent and creativity while gaining valuable experience in the industry.
This year the Centennial High School film team placed first for THEIR SHORT FILM - FALSE REALITITIES - WINNING BEST HIGH SCHOOL THRILLER.
The premise of the film is: After 2 kids from a school were killed, this was the 6th case in the past month. Numerous reports have seen the deceased victims walking around the town. Is it just false reports? Or is there something supernatural at play? Congratulations to the following team members:
