Valley View Elementary will begin its Walking School Bus on Friday, July 29th! A Walking School Bus is a group of children who walk to school together under the supervision of a trained adult
leader who is an LCPS employee, along with staff and parent volunteers. The program promotes good health, a cleaner environment, and reduced traffic around school. We will walk all year, every Friday that there is school, RAIN OR SHINE (except if there’s lightning).
No sign up required, just come! Parents are welcome to walk with students but are not required.
