Under the direction of Rod Pior and Marissa Al-Masoud, the band energized the room with a lively rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey, arranged by Paul Murtha.
Congratulations to Michelle Ronga, LCPS Executive Director of Athletics, on being named the NMAA Southwest Athletic Director of the Year. Michelle was recognized during this week’s Board of Education regular session for her outstanding leadership and contributions to our district.

Keller is a junior on the cross country team and holds a 4.0 GPA. He recently crushed his personal best with a 16:59 5K, leading his team at the season opener in Eastwood.
Keller Ford stands out as a self-disciplined and highly coachable athlete. He brings an optimistic attitude to every practice and meet, maintaining positivity in his day-to-day approach to running.
His coaches highlight Keller for his self-discipline, positive attitude, and strong leadership. His journey from a motivated newcomer to a team leader serves as a testament to hard work, resilience, and the power of believing in oneself and the process.

Eva is a senior on the cross country team and holds a 3.6 GPA. She recently set a new personal best, running a 20:07 5K, and is determined to break the 20-minute mark this season.
Eva has embraced a leadership role on the team and maintained consistent discipline, effort and attitude throughout the summer.
Coach says Eva is a quiet leader who shows perseverance, consistency, and a strong commitment to her team. Her leadership has made her an integral part of the program, encouraging others to strive for success.
